An introduction to freediving in its pure form.

Learn proper breathing techniques, become more familiar with diaphragmatic breathing and take a deep breath like never before. The SSI level 1 Freediving course provides the appropriate knowledge and skills to Freedive at depths up to 20 meters in the most comfortable and safe way possible. It is designed to train you to hold your breath so your body can be more efficient, gain better breathing and muscle flexibility, and learn new skills, and will take you to the next level of freediving.

Participation Requirements:

  • Be 18 years or older (start from age 12 with parental consent)
  • Completion of the SSI Participation Form (Health Form and Liability agreement)


Necessary equipment:

  • Mask, snorkel
  • Fins
  • Wetsuit
  • Weight belt
